Also, it's those milestone birthdays that really do us in. I turned 60 last April, will be 61 a week from today. 61 isn't nearly as bad as 60. 60 was terrifying, months up until the date I was actually planning on have a difficult time. And I did. But my life is transformed in the last year, all for the better. And a lot of the impetus for positive change came from having a milestone birthday. I remember leading up to my birthday, one of my friends said, "This year may be the best year of your life." I thought she was crazy. But you know what? She was right. This year has been the best year of my life. Oh wow. I need to write a post about that!!!
