Great piece. I must ask, though, is there anything Jonah can do to redeem himself? If he is genuinely contrite, makes a public apology, stays in therapy perhaps with a therapist he didn't make a documentary with, and it's clear he's changed course, is he forgivable? Or is this guy just across the board canceled and he's lost his career? Although I ask that with men like Bill Clinton and Tiger Woods in mind. Not the same type of indiscretions, but a lot of manipulation and gaslighting nonetheless. Most famous people are never completely canceled. And should they be? If they are repentant, if they do the work, do they deserve forgiveness? All hypothetical in this instance, though, because if he was actually taking responsibility for his bad behavior, we would have heard from Jonah by now...
