Here’s my question, because I’ve been thinking a lot about this. In what relationship is it possible to avoid resentment? I think resentment is the hallmark of any relationship that lasts for any length of time. It’s what you choose to do with that resentment. I don’t think it is impossible to recover from resentment. I think it depends on what you want. I don’t think it’s necessarily the end of a relationship, or all marriages would end in divorce. And resentments don’t just occur in romantic relationships. They occur in family and friendship relationships as well. Resentment in relationships are part of the same mixed bag of ugly we all live with.
