I agree with what you said, but why did Petro capitulate? And without anything but gloating on the Trump side of the equation. I did read the article you're referencing but I also read a couple others in the New York Times that got to the heart of the issues - so I got the message that Petro's issue was with the inhumaneness of how the migrants were treated, not the fact it was a deportation flight on a military plane. So I did catch get that message. It wasn't primarily the tariffs, it was about dignity. But you make such compelling points. What was it that caused Petro to capitulate in the end and allow Trump to formulate the explanation as cowardice?
