You know how I was talking about going to Loverville with that fellow a month or so ago? Well, as per usual, nothing came of it. We drop off communication for a week or two, I get bored, send him a picture, and it’s like pouring water on a dry sponge. Everything gets all swollen and hot for a day or so. But that’s it. A day or so. It is sustaining, though, that day or so. 😊

I connected with another fellow a few days back. He’s got a graduate degree. I get pretty excited when I see those online. It seemed promising, but he’s not very attentive. I don’t like that! I like being fawned over a bit (but only by text). He’s younger but not way way younger. Although I’d never venture into long-term territory with anyone younger — but I don’t want to venture into long-term territory at all anymore.

School is great, except I’m not enjoying Intro to Theology. The professor doesn’t have the knack for teaching and he’s not clear on assignments. I got a C on my first paper. A C! That’s a hit to the ego. But, as two people have said to me now, “Cs get degrees!”. The silver lining is, a bunch of are so frustrated we started reaching out to one another, and I gathered us all up (like the mother hen that I am) and created a group text chat.
