I was just talking about this with my friend today. I posited I didn't know if my stomach aversion to ENM is really me or just the brainwashing of a lifetime. Intellectually, I so agree with the poly lifestyle, and have myself lived an ENM lifestyle for periods of time while online dating - however I was not in love with any of my partners (according to my definition of "in love"). But to think about falling hard in love and being willing to share my partner emotionally and physically with another woman scares me. It's not abhorent, it's just an unknown, and therefore generates a fear reaction. It's moot, however, because I'm celibate right now :(
