I was pretty angry when I wrote that. I was neck deep in the affair and incredibly frustrated with the whole situation, engulfed in shame. There's a lot of truth there, but I doubt I'd write it like that now. But it is a powerful piece. However, not all wives are as I have portrayed. I have a lot of friends that are wives. Hey. Wait a minute. No, in fact I don't have a lot of maried friends. Interesting. Just realized that. They must really annoy me? HA!
