I’m having such a lovely lovely time.

I just watched Something’s Gotta Give. I saw it when it came out in 2003. I remember thinking Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson looked so old. I remember thinking wow, I can’t imagine what it would be like to be that old. I’ll never be that old. It felt weird to think about old people having that kind of a love story.

Diane Keaton was 57 in 2003. Jack Nicholson was 65. Keanu Reeves was 38. I was 39.

So many good things come with time, with age. But oh my word, it goes so fast. So very fast. It always amazes me how fast.

If I could just slow things down, just a bit. Because it feels that for the first time this is my time. I’m having such a lovely lovely time.
