I'm sorry for your loss. I have HSV2. I take anti-virals, use condoms, and do not have sex during an outbreak. But I don't have outbreaks anymore. With the precautions I take the chance of male to female transmission is 1%. I can share my sources if you'd like. One in six people have genital herpes. So if you've been with six men, you've likely been exposed. Herpes seems only to be an issue to people that don't have herpes, which adds to the stigma (I've done a lot of research on this). Unfortunate everything that transpired, and that something so insignificant as HSV2 contributed to the breakup of your marriage.
