I’m in torment because I’m in torment. Not because of you. But you’re not helping. I’m in desperate need. I will claw at you and suck the life out of you. You are in danger of being pulled down with me. I’m not what you think. There’s much good in me. But I’m also desperately needy. I will wear you out.
I’m very very ill. I should be in the hospital. But I won’t go because they won’t let me write. Writing is what’s keeping me alive.
I’m not functional. I need someone to take care of me. But God help the person that signs on for that. You do not want to be that person. Instead of a statement I’ll make it a question. Do you want to take care of me? I’m sick and may never be well. Is that how you want to spend your life?
