Two really important things I heard today.

Ethel Loveless said, “We’re the sperm that made it.”

A man releases between 40 million and 1.2 billion sperm in one ejaculation. We’re the sperm that made it. Just think about that. I have been.

Later Katie said, “Probably the worst things that could happen to you have already happened.”

She caught me by surprise on that one. She’s probably right.

I can do this. I’m the sperm that made it. And it’s likely the worst is behind me.
