It's not the same, because racism is different than misogyny, but this happens to women, too. I can only imagine what women of color do in the face of these intrusions. Doubly insulting. I'm glad you assert yourself, and it seems you do so respectfully and intelligently, and I love that. I just get pissed and yell or at a minimum speak loudly and sternly. Unfortunately, that doesn't necessarily have a chastening effect, it can be emboldening.
