Maybe. On the other hand, it's good to get out and do social things. I've joined a bunch of meetups and I'm going to force myself to go. No chickening out! I'm an extrovert, once I get there I'll be fine. It's hard to do things by myself but I'm single! I must! I'm dating a guy I met on Hinge. I don't know. He's awfully nice, and attentive. But he's old! He's my age!!! Bwahahaha! Dating doesn't have to be the goal. Getting out, not isolating, that's the ticket to a more expansive existence. I want better, I want more quality of life. I have to push myself to do that. And that's OK! But... we're each on our own path. You must do what is right and best for you, and only you.
