My mom has been in and out of the hospital all week from surgical complications.

I was driving to the hospital this morning, talking to God. She was in the passenger seat. I could sense her just there, next to me.

She kept pushing peace into me. She had to push hard, because I am in serious manic turmoil.

I tried to rest my mind, rest my heart, just lean back into her. Trust her.

She put this verse in my head:

“My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me.”
Psalms 63:8
