Coco and Terri at Disneyland, April 2023. Check out that mineral sunscreen making me ghostly ghastly pale!

I found this email I sent to a medium friend one year and one day ago. So interesting where I was then and where I’m at today. So so interesting.

I always tell people that a year from now, any problems they are grappling with will have been resolved. But… they will have a whole new set of problems to contend with.

I left mom. I never thought I’d be free of that situation. I’ve been in the Portland apartment for four months now. Amazing. I love my place.

I saw Chloe over the rainbow bridge in October and now I’ve got Smoky the Pirate who is a sick little boy. I may be ushering another cat to catnip heaven this year. I’ll know soon enough.

I’m lonely, haven’t met many people. On the other hand, I’m not pushing myself much. The Episcopal Church is two blocks from me. Can’t get myself to go. I am going to the Democrat Friends 45 & Up meetup on Friday. That should be interesting.

David and I met for a drink this evening. He’s a “problem” I no longer have. Well, he still pisses me off sometimes like you would not believe. Then I text bitch the fuck out of him and he sucks it up because he knows it won’t last. It’s true. I don’t hold grudges. But man, I can really be a bitch. I don’t know if I’ll ever completely forgive him for…
