“Why not?”

I was out with my friend tonight. I was talking about my time in Louisville. I do that a lot. Too much, sometimes.

I told him about the beautiful young black man I dated. Well, not dated. Spent a bit of time with. I told my friend I’d asked him,

“Why big girls?”

And he’d responded,

“Why not?”

I’ve never asked a man that question again.

Why would I?

Ahhh, life is good. I’ve had some wonderful experiences. I’ve had such a fabulous run.
