Yes. In my Intepreting the NT class, we're into Paul's writing. One commentator talks about "clobber verses". Bingo. But calling them out does nothing. Brian Houston said that Satanic forces were trying to take down Hillson. Nope. Unchecked power coupled with harmful sexual choices is what dinged Hillsong. In spite of it, they are thriving. Nothing stops these people. They claim forgiveness and the congregation lauds them for it and continues their blind devotion. And lives are being destroyed daily. Pastor Blue died from ALS. He suffered in this lifetime. And I'm sorry for that. But I sincerely doubt he ever waivered from the theology he used to clobber and destroy my generation.
